Six reasons retailers and buyers pick it
- Material-level deodorizing 6% volcanic mud adsorbs odor physically — works around the clock without fragrance, so it fits scent-sensitive cats and households.
- 2. 1–2 second tight clumps Crushed granules interlock and mud particles co-absorb water; clumps are firm, flat-free and faster than conventional 3–8 s strip litter (mill data).
- Tight yet light, non-stick Clumps lift out whole without sticking to the box bottom even in a thin 5–7 cm layer, and tofu clumps weigh far less than mineral clumps.
- Low dust — about 99.5% non-dustMulti-stage screening and dedusting after crushing (dust ≤ 0.5%, mill data). Friendlier to feline airways, your floors and smart-box sensors.
- Food-grade & kitten-friendly Pea fiber and corn starch base means low risk from occasional small ingestion (litter is not food — do not feed). A clean 0-fragrance, 0-dye formula.
- Half the weight, same coverage~0.45–0.60 kg/L bulk density — roughly half of bentonite per volume, meaning real savings on courier, FBA and last-mile freight.
Buyer FAQ
Is it safe if my cat (or kitten) eats some?
The base is food-grade pea fiber and corn starch, so occasional small ingestion carries low risk. Litter is not food — keep kittens from deliberate eating and consult a vet if a large amount is ingested.
Can clumps really be flushed down the toilet?
The plant base breaks down in water, so small batches can be flushed when drainage is free. Because the formula contains 6% volcanic mud, we recommend scooping out as the daily routine; never flush with old piping, low-flow toilets or septic systems. Bag printing carries the matching flush caution for your market.
Will my bentonite-only cat accept it?
This is exactly why we use 0.5–3.5 mm crushed fines — they feel close to mineral sand. Most cats take it directly; for stubborn ones, mix old and new litter over 3–5 days.
Does it work in automatic self-cleaning boxes?
The fine crushed granules suit most sifting and drum-type smart boxes far better than long strips. Please run a small-batch trial against your model’s sieve holes and cycle timing before full rollout; we support sample orders for exactly this test.
How does it control odor with no fragrance at all?
Two pathways: the micropores in volcanic mud physically adsorb ammonia from the air, and starch gel seals urine into a tight clump within 1–2 seconds. It is physical odor control — we make no antibacterial claims and add no chemical antibacterial agent.
